HealthQuest Multi-User Database v. 4.0
A Nutritional Database for Health Professionals

The HealthQuest nutritional database is designed to help health professionals navigate their way through a mass of nutritional information which they know can be valuable to patients, but which spans such a range that it can be difficult to harness. Customize over 4500 pages of patient handouts with your practice name, fax, email, website and logo!

Health Concerns: Contains a wealth of information for over 370 health conditions. Customized patient reports include: Definition, Signs and Symptoms, Possible Causes, Nutrient Applications, Dietary and Lifestyle Applications, and related Notes for each condition.

Patient Information: Includes three sections: 1. Patient Fact Sheets provide easy to read patient education handouts, which define the clinical applications and research related to particular nutrient combinations. 2. Wellness Information includes numerous diets and handouts on MSG, Aspartame, Water, Fiber Facts, Detoxification Guidelines, Insulin Reduction Diet and much more. Detailed but simplified, these customized informational sheets can increase interest and compliance. 3. Patient History allows you to keep track of any reports that have been printed for a particular patient.

Vitamins, Minerals, and Specialty Nutrients: Contains an encyclopedia of information. This section includes headings such as: Functions, Effects of Deficiency, Pharmacological Actions, Clinical Applications/Research, Nutrient/Tidbits, Sources, RDA, Contraindications/Toxicology, Drug Nutrient Interactions and Depletions.

Herbal Nutrients: Contains comprehensive information on well-known herbs, and updated information on lesser-known herbs, including Description, Composition, Pharmacological Action, Clinical Applications/Research, Suggested Dosage, Contraindications/Toxicology, Drug Nutrient Interactions and Depletions.

Health Tests: Includes three sections: 1. The Laboratory Tests section describes: Physiology, Laboratory Range, Optimal Range, Increased in, Decreased in, Possible Indications of Specific Values, Related tests, and Nutrient Suggestions for common blood values. 2. The Questionnaires section has a comprehensive selection of questionnaires to assist in patient evaluation, including a personal history questionnaire to use for reference. These questionnaires can be filled out on the computer, or by hand on printed copies. Responses to the questionnaires can then be interpreted graphically to highlight areas most in need of nutritional support. 3. The Nutritional Protocols section allows you to print and edit protocols based on the questionnaire evaluations.

Drug/Nutrient Interactions and Depletions: An extensive listing of approximately 1700 drugs by both generic and brand name notes nutrient interactions with the drugs, and nutrient depletions by the drugs.

Search Button: A powerful search feature allows the user to locate topics in the database quickly, easily, and efficiently.

Unique Customization Feature: The HealthQuest Database is designed for more than one PC or can be networked for one particular user. The HealthQuest database also includes a highly unique customization feature that allows the user to customize the HealthQuest Database to reflect the users particular needs. The customization feature allows the user to:
• Add your own new items in the following sections of the database: Health Concerns, Patient Fact Sheets, Wellness Information, Vitamins, Minerals and Specialty Nutrients, Herbal Nutrients and Natural Foods, Laboratory Tests and Nutritional Protocols.
• Edit existing items with your own unique information from any source you choose.
