A Nutritional Database for Health Professionals Upgrade
This section only applies to
current users of the HealthQuest database. The information below describes the
changes and enhancements that have been made to the Version 4.0 upgrade
(compared to Version 3.0). Please contact us if

TWO UPDATES IN ONE!
HEALTHQUEST VERSION 4.0 IS NOW READY FOR YOU TO USE IN YOUR OFFICE! We have
taken extra development time and continued to use the authorship of Herb Joiner-Bey,
ND, author of the Clinician’s Handbook of Natural Medicine, and other
well-qualified writers to provide you with the most comprehensive update since
the release of the original HealthQuest Nutritional Database! Version 4.0
incorporates major additions and enhancements to existing data and
substantially increases functionality, equivalent to what we would normally
provide in two updates!
Here are some of the highlights of the Version 4.0 update:

Over
1000 pages of new patient education handouts have been added to
the existing 3500 pages currently in Version 3.0, including:

The Health Concerns section has been greatly enhanced with over
10,000 new
references added to the nutrient and botanical sections, plus Suggested
Dosages added for each and every nutrient and botanical. Practitioner Dosages
and References can now be added to every nutrient and/or botanical.

Numerous herbs have been added or updated with a comprehensive and referenced
pharmacological action section.

Depletions, Contraindications and Toxicology, Pregnancy/Lactation Data and
Beneficial Uses of an Herbal or Nutrient During Drug Therapy.

Many new Specialty Nutrients have been added including all the amino acids,
glutathione, gugulipid, malic acid, ipriflavone, soy isoflavones and many more.

The Wellness Information section has doubled in size with numerous new diets,
and handouts on MSG, Aspartame, Water, Fiber Facts and much more.

All the reports can now be customized with the patient’s name and the date the
report was generated. The database will also now keep track of any reports that
have been printed for a particular patient.

All reports can now be printed with your name, logo (if appropriate size),
fax, e-mail and website at the top of all the handouts.

Nutritional Protocols section has been greatly improved and enhanced.

New drugs and drug interactions/depletions have been added to the
Drug/Nutrient Interaction section.

The Edit Feature that was provided in Version 3.0 is still a very popular
feature of Version 4.0. It allows you to further customize the HealthQuest
database to reflect your own needs. The Laboratory Section and the Nutritional
Protocols section are now both editable.

**HOT NEW SUPPLEMENT SECTION:
This feature allows you to create
“Supplement Recommendation” handouts for patients based on their specific need
including:

A “Supplement Chart” listing your specifically-tailored supplement
recommendations with suggested dosages (description and ingredients of products
can be included).

The report can be generated with the patient’s next appointment date and an
optional note from you to your patient.
